Julia Pohling, Sarah Metz, Kira Weise and Daniel Sternberger secured their positions in the national team last weekend. They will be competing in the 8th World  Cup in May in Baar/Switzerland.

At the second qualification, which took place last Saturday in Essen Heisingen, the gymnasts from Taunusstein showed their best performances in all three disciplines. As one of the youngest in her class, Sarah Metz placed second right after the local gymnast Mareike Jochem. Kira Weise, catching up with a training deficit after a foot injury showed that she’s back on track for the World Championships placing 4th. Daniel Sternberger showed solid performances in both qualifiers (5th) and is looking forward to his first international appearance.

Julia Pohling once again proved her skills and won the women's competition. Her success raises hopes for the upcoming World Cup. Alexander Wolf came 10th in the men’s class and celebrates the end of an excellent season in his second year as a senior. He will begin preparing for the Nationals in early June.
