Our youngest kids competed in a province-wide competition last weekend and impressed with nice routines

In this years season opening, the youngest athletes competed in a provincial girls and boys competition (8-12 years). The  Girl's from Taunusstein dominated the other clubs winning 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. After the obligatory L5 Pflicht, it wasn't easy to identify the better girls yet, however, they showed their skills in the Kür, where they impressed with high difficulties for their age and very good nerves. Kira Homeyer clearly presented her exercise best and was rewarded with the first place. Ida Wassilev came 2nd and Annika Metz 3rd (both Neuhof). Jule Petsch (6th, Neuhof) and Annika Elze (7th, Neuhof) were also pleased finishing among the best ten. Dascha König and Jüli Alici came 14th and 21st. Taking part in this province-wide competition for the first time, our youngest gymnasts Luana Hopkins, Leonie Anstotz and Antonia Pack finished 26th, 31st, and 32nd.
In an exiting competition in the boys class, Tim Calmano (Bleidenstadt) used the mistake of Milan Lessel (Darmstadt), turned the competition around and came first. Fabio Pastore (Bleidenstadt) came 4th.
